Mobile Residential
An alternative to our semi independent provision is our Mobile residential support is designed to support a realignment of problematic or life limiting behaviours exhibited by young people and to prevent an otherwise breakdown of placement.Mobile support provides crisis intervention and mobile therapeutic workshops and works with young people who have concerns expressed by professionals regarding behaviour and risk, those exhibiting life-limiting behaviours (including gang violence and knife crime) and young people who need a transitional placement following secure residential care. We recognise the the findings of Richard Louv in respect of Nature-deficit disorder which is the idea that human beings, especially children, are spending less time outdoors, and the belief that this change results in a wide range of behavioural problems. We are registered with the English outdoor council and have developed the facility of open space to support the realignment of behavious that impede the development and/or affect the safety of young people.
What We Do
Our vision is to support young people on their journey to adulthood and to give them the tools that will enable them to become successful and contributing members of their/our community. We come from a solid child protection and social care background and have developed skills that would help achieve our aim. We understand the community in which we provide our service and recognise full well the impact that poverty, disadvantage and deprivation has had on members of our community and we believe that our drive to deliver positive outcomes for young people comes from our personal experiences of being children and growing up within disadvantaged communities in Liverpool and Sefton during difficult times.
Here at ‘Rebuild’ we pride ourselves on the friendliness, compassionate support that is offered to each and every young person to help them overcome obstacles that they will face on their journey to adulthood. ‘We are of the community in which we serve’.
Additional Support
We understand ‘crisis’, its role, impact and the manner in which it is recovered to achieve higher end outcomes for young people, moreover we understand that often young people require additional support to realign maladjusted behaviour and we are trained skilled and able to support in this respect.
We have incorporated additional knowledge in respect of alternative and less recognised tools for support such as ‘Nature Deficit Disorders’ which whilst not a science is the idea that human beings, especially children, are spending less time outdoors, and the belief that this change results in a wide range of behavioural problems.
